To operate you need two AAA batteries – some customers who have purchased this say it came with batteries and some said without. We’d suggest have a pack in hand to save any disappointment.

At the time of writing Pax retails at $24.99 but it is best to check online stores such as Amazon for the latest price.
Who Would Buy It?
The manufacturers Hasbro recommend ages 4 and over for this toy dog. It certainly isn’t a toy for younger children as the poop pellets could easily become a choking hazard.
We’d say 4-8 would be a good age range for this toy as older children would soon get bored with it.
It is suitable for boys or girls who like animals and pets.
Things We Like About It
It poops and farts what more is there to like about it!
The noises Pax makes will make you and your kids laugh.
There is actually some real value in this toy in that it teaches children about responsibility and looking after a dog and the environment. Saying that I think my little girl is more inclined to clear up little plastic poops than our real dogs, real world versions!
We liked the leash which is firm and can be used to push the puppy along.
The poops/treats are the sort of color you’d expect treats and poops to be.
Things We Did Not Like About It
The main reservation we have is how long before the little puppy treats start going missing. They are small and easy to lose. This also could result in other treats being inserted into Pax that might not come out the other end resulting in a constipated Pax and maybe major surgery!
If you do lose all your treats it is probably worth contacting Hasbro for replacements.
The puppy can only be surface washed with a damp cloth or brush as it will not work if it gets wet so this might be an issue for some parents.
Is It Worth The Money?
We were actually surprised that it was so cheap, these type of toys are often highly priced but twenty five bucks is a good price to pay for this.

Final Thoughts
Great entertainment and kids will love it and moms, dads and grandparents will be secretly sniggering as well. Older kids might get bored with it fairly quickly but younger kids will get a lot of creative play time out of it.
It’s reasonably priced for what you get but just make sure that you keep tally of those little poops! The pup does require AAA batteries and is rated 4.3 out of 5 stars.
